Abstract

We constructed a new empirical isospin‐symmetry breaking (ISB) Hamiltonian in the sd (1s1/2, 0d5/2 and 0d3/2) shell‐model space. In this contribution, we present its application to two important case studies: (i) β‐delayed proton emission from 22Al and (ii) isospin‐mixing correction to superallowed 0+ → 0+ β‐decay ft‐values.
