The Theory of the "Income Revolution" in the US and Contemporary Revisionism

The basic content of our epoch is the transition from capitalism to socialism. The great successes of socialism, the intensification of the class struggle of the proletariat in capitalist countries force bourgeois ideologists to seek out new forms of apologetics for the capitalist order. Along with attempts to discredit socialist construction in the countries of the socialist camp, bourgeois propaganda tries to convince the masses that there have been changes in the nature of modern capitalism capable of ensuring general well-being. The fabrications of bourgeois propaganda are taken up by the right wing socialist leaders and the "theoreticians" of the new revisionism in the Communist Parties of some countries. The source of inspiration for current rightist reformism and revisionism is bourgeois ideology and in particular the theory of "people's capitalism" worked out by bourgeois scholars in the USA and other capitalist countries.
