Abstract

The term "conceptual model" has many connotations, a conceptual model for simulation is frequently described as the bridge between the Developer and the User. This paper focuses on the conceptual model and its role in the simulation life cycle. It begins with an overview of the conceptual model concept. It then addresses the components of conceptual model for simulations. It then discusses primary approaches and applications of conceptual model, and with a discussion of conceptual model verification and validation.
