Abstract

A device for fixing the acromial extremity of the clavicle to the coracoid process of the scapula with help of a screw and a plate-washer was designed and introduced into practice. Owing to its design features, the above device makes it possible both to fix the clavicle to the coracoid process of the scapula and to preserve the physiological range of movements in the region of the acromioclavicular joint.
