Abstract
The roles of potential infectious agents in fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome are reviewed. There are significant overlaps in fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. The clinical features and possibly the pathophysiologic mechanisms of these two disorders may be closely related.
