Abstract
During the survey of eriophyid mite fauna of Trinidad and Guyana in 1989, several mites were collected and studied. A total of 12 species are identified. They are: Notaceria tetrandiae gen. et sp. nov., Acalitus adoratus Keifer, Acalitus mikaniae Keifer, Aceria eupatorii Roivainen, Aceria gastrotrichus (Nalepa), Aceria ruelliae Channabasavanna, Aceria mikaniae (Nalepa), Paraphytoptus palicoureae sp. nov, Eriophyes lantanae Cook, Eriophyes tetracerae Nalepa, Diptilomiopus sp, and Phyllocoptes doctersi Nalepa.
