Abstract
Basic reading, writing, and math skills are the foundation for education. Some students entering vocational programs need remediation in these skills. The Vocational Preparation (Voc Prep) program has been found to raise academic ability, increase retention, and build cooperation among such students while preparing them to enter vocational programs.
