Abstract A simple method is presented for correction of polydispersity obtained by gel permeation chromatography. The method proposed utilizes well‐characterized polystyrene standards for both instrument calibration and construction of a correction curve which is then used for calculation of weight‐average and number‐average molecular weights and polydispersity of samples to be characterized.
