Study on the Prepatation of Chitosan Oligomers with Peroxide Degradation and Analysis Molecular Weight and Polydispersity

Abstract

A degradation method of chitosan with hydrogen peroxide under the condition of weekly acid solution is discussed in this paper.The effect factors of temperature,time and amount of hydrogen peroxide on the depolymerization of chitosan are researched.The changes of molecular weight and molecular weight polydispersity in the process of chitosan hydrolysis are monitored by gel permeation chromatography.
