Empirical studies on regional technological innovation and economic growth

The practice of the world economic development has proved that technological innovation is the source of economic growth. Technological innovation can achieve the intensification of economic growth, and it is the converter of economic growth mode. On the basis of the previous research and the technological innovation situation of Hebei province, this paper makes a systematic and in-depth study of the inherent relevance between technological innovation and economic growth, from the perspective of the regional technological innovation theory. And found that the economic growth largely influent the technological innovation ability, and conversely, technological innovation has little influence on the economic growth. This conclusion fits with the development level of technological innovation of Hebei province. Then the paper put forward the policy suggestion to raise technological innovation ability.
