Abstract
Modifications of the Avidin-Biotin immunoperoxidase procedure (AB) for visual identification of tissueantigens are described. The alterations in the technique result in a 75 % reduction of processing time while at the same time improving sensitivity and enhancing tissue morphology. The use of this rapid technique allows this procedure to be utilized as a routine diagnostic method with a minimal expenditure in terms of labor and equipment.
