The officials training trend in late Qing Dynasty was started in the westernization movement period, and primarily developed in Wuxu Reform period, culminated in the earlier stage of new policies movement in latter Qing Dynasty, and gradually declined after 1906. It is necessary to think about the relations between the officials training in late Qing Dynasty and the enlightenment in Modern China. Under the special Chinese national conditions, it is one of the feasible choices for the enlightenment to promote the of the public by improving the of the officials.
