Abstract
Abstract The study uses the Panel data of fifteen hi-tech industries over the period of 2000-2010 in order to measure the productivity changes of Chinese hi-tech industries by using the Malmquist productivity index. It concludes that the electronic component and office equipment industries are considered to be efficient. The mix result obtained with respect to productivity changes and its sources. Office Equipment industry is the leading in productivity gain by 3.7% over the study period.
