Lumbar hernia associated with chronic obstructivepulmonary disease (COPD)

Lumbar hernias are very rare posterolateral abdominal wall hernias, and they are spontaneous in most adult patients. Here we report two cases of spontaneous lumbar hernias associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
