Abstract
On the basis of summarizing the definition of modern service industry from many scholars, this paper proposes the author's understanding of modern service industry and establishes evaluation index system of modern service industry in China. By using factor analysis in multivariate statistical method, the development level of modern service industry in 31 provinces of China is analyzed, revealing the present development situation of modern service industry in China, and suggestions for the future development are put forward.
