Abstract
In this paper, basic requirement of hitching and unhitching device is analyzed. A new device for fast hitching and unhitching is designed, virtual prototype model of the device is built. By using Pro/Engineer and ADAMS software, dynamic analysis and simulation are carried out. Analysis and simulation result show that the parameters used on the virtual prototype are met the actual design parameters. Through testing methods verifies kinetic characteristic of physical prototype, influence of connect characteristic from −15° to +15° between tractor and four-wheel equipment and whether virtual prototype is compatible with the physical prototype. The result of simulation and experimentation indicates that parameter of motion and structure parameters are met motion requirement, virtual prototype is compatible with the physical prototype.
