Accurate Calculation and Control of Dry Dual-Clutch Torque during Shifting Process

Abstract

Aiming at the work and structural characteristic of dual clutch transmission (DCT), the control of clutch torque is analyzed during shifting process; A system dynamic model has been established; Several key influence factors of clutch transmit torque are raised, and then the accurate formula for each factor is derived respectively; Model and simulation are made up by MATLAB /SIMULINK, and then the clutch torque is analyzed during shifting process for a DCT car. The results indicate that the jerk will be reduced effectively by coordinated control for the changing ratio of clutch torque during shifting process.
