Abstract

The function of the exhaust gas turbocharger is to increase the air pressure. The purpose is to increase the air density of the engine cylinder, thus the output power of the engine and the burn-off rate of the fuel oil will be improved. So the exhaust turbocharger is most suitable for applications of automobile engines. In this paper, an improved design of the exhaust gas turbocharger is developed. Firstly, the structure and principle of the turbocharger is described. Then, the function and effect of the relevant parts is indicated as well as its role in the overall composition. At the same time, an improving design is developed and the reasonableness of the program is discussed. The improving design can provide a reference for the turbocharger design and process design, and provide the basis for the efficient production of the turbocharger.
