Abstract
Using an initial key corresponding to the original image, an image encryption algorithm based on compound Logistic and Chebyshev chaotic maps is put forward. The cipher sequences are reciprocally disordered in subsection generated alternately by the compound chaotic system, whose dynamics can be evidently covered up. Analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has the virtue of higher security.
