Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of low virus load chronic hepatitis B by lamivudine. Methods Forty-seven patients of active liver cirrhosis with chronic hepatitis B(HBV-DNA 5.0×102-1.0×104 copies/mL) were randomly divided into two groups. The therapy group had twenty-four patients, the control group had twenty-three patients.Using the treatment of liver protection and supporting to both two groups, but lamivudine was used in therapy group,100mg q.d.,at least 1.5 years. Results The level of TBIL and ALT in two groups was decreased after 1.5 years, the score of Child-Pugh was degraded, the difference had significance. But the control group had a little change. The quantitation of HBV-DNA was negative in therapy group, and unobvious in control group. Conclusion Using lamivudine to treat liver cirrhosis with low virus load chronic hepatitis B has certain therapeutic effect.
