Abstract
After the crisis of 1998, the issue of Corporate Governance raises as indicator for investors and the government to see which company has the right direction in determining the failure and success of the company. By examining the impact of Corporate Governance in the top ten Corporate Governance Index with other companies that are not in top ten Corporate Governance Index, through financial distress, there were differences on the profitability value.
