Abstract

The performance of two adaptive controllers has been compared based on a simulation platform. The control schemes are composed of model based adaptive control and adaptive backstepping with MT-filter. Both of the adaptive controllers have been evaluated in terms of estimated parameter convergence, dynamic performance, and ability of disturbance rejection under the same nonlinear system.
