Abstract
In this paper, we developed a digital music glove (DMG) system that could control music in real-time processing through sensory acceptance of the movements of finger joints during the MIDI music playing. We designed the sequence application program using the Maximum midi software. The computer receives the data from the controller through the serial cable. These data are transformed to the control parameter to change the sound by gestural mapping algorithm. Our DMG system can be extended to any type of musical instrument for controlling music by dancers and musicians.
