Abstract
Digital music has been widely utilized as an aid in specialty of performing arts in China's Teachers Colleges. It plays an increasing role to lay students a good musical foundation during group instructions, in particular. Digital pianos and computer music lab have provided feasibility for applying MIDI (Music Instrument Digital Interface) music models in classroom. The application of MIDI models does not only acoustically settle the modeling problem for the teacher in his group instructions, but also enrich the form of his modeling as an addition to his real-time modeling performing. In addition, MIDI music collections can assist students' piano practice in various forms and enhance their interests and learning efficiency so as to achieve better teaching effectiveness.
