Influence of the growing coffea Arabica L. by thinning out of pin-heads

Beeinflussung des Wachstums bei Coffea arabica L. durch Ausdunnen des Fruchtansatzes Der Versuch hatte gezeigt, das bei Coffea arabica L. durch ein 75%iges Ausdunnen der Fruchte im „pin-head“-Stadium ein Rucksterben, „die-back, der Pflanzen verhindert werden kann. Gleichzeitig waren die Kaffeebohnen groser, wodurch sich die Kaffeequalitat erhoht. Das vegetative Wachstum und der Knospenansatz der 2. Saison waren bei den ausgedunnten Pflanzen in einem guten Gleichgewicht. The vegetable growth and the bud setting in the second season in those plants which had been thinned out were well balanced. Therefore it can be assumed that by thinning out the fruits in coffee the alternance will be broken.
