Establishment of an indicator system for sub-optimal health status and examination for its reliability and validity.

Objective To establish an indicator system for sub-health status and evaluate its reliability and validity.Method Based on the basic features of uncomfortable and diminishing ability,according to the chronic stress on the human body's main system,an indicator system for sub-health status evaluation was developed and was discussed by clinical experts and epidemiologists.The formal sub-health survey questionnaire including the formation of the final five domains structure,23 questions in total was ultimately formed.The scale was tested in 944 people with Chronbach'sαreliability coefficient for reliability and factor analysis method for validity.Results The whole questionnaire's Chronbach'sαreliability coefficient was 0.918,Cronbach'sαof the three domains,including fatigue symptoms,cardiovascular symptoms and mental symptoms's were more than 0.7,so that the indicators of the overall system reliability good.When analyzing the validity,a total of five main components was extracted,the components of accumulated contributions to the total variation about 58.35%,the 5 common factors basically consistent with the five dimension.Conclusion The questionnaire of sub-health symptoms has good reliability and validity,which can be used for sub-health screening and physical symptoms of a preliminary assessment.
