Abstract

History of the Electric Power Industry is a brief overview of the history, ownership structure of the electric power industry, the development of the power grid in the US, and different crises that have impacted the electric power industry including changes in the laws and regulations governing it, blackouts, the growth of the environmental movement, oil shortages, and financial crises.
