Abstract

Abstract : The Economic Factors Department of MITRE has developed a computerized electronic system cost model as part of its work in system cost methodology. This document describes the initial version of the model and gives instructions for the electronic data processing procedures, including presentation of the key punch input forms, computer output formats, and a description of the computer program logic. The model, currently operational, has been programmed for the IBM 7090 computer requires a 32,768 register core memory. The objectives of this manual are to provide a Primer for the cost analyst, and a Reference Manual for the detailed operations on the use of the model.
