Results of surveys in Oxford to investigate the impact of bus lane schemes

Details of changes in travel arrangements, following implementation of bus lanes in Oxford, were sought at the level of the individual traveler. Bus users, car users and cyclists were each sampled. Attempts were made to understand the ways in which travelers, and especially the car users, perceived the impact of the bus priority scheme.
