Abstract
Two foliar sprays were given at fortnightly interval, revealed that endosulfan @700 g a.i./ha was most effective treatment followed by alphamethrin @ 40g a.i./ha and Polytrin (440 & 880g a.i./ha) against leafhopper in both sprays. Both dosages of alphamethrin and endosulfan were effective in managing whiteflies. On weight basis, fruit borer damage in various treatments ranged from 11.816.4% while it was 25.3% in control. All the treatments were effective but endosulfan was most effective against fruit borer on number as well as weight basis. All the treatments were effective and their yield varied from 4.171–5.720 MT/ha while it was only 3.035 MT/ha in check. However, Indoxacarb @ 70 g a.i./ha gave max. yield.
