Abstract
Triazophos, fenpropethrin, mineral oil and deltaphos were significantly effective on all stages of cotton whitefly, Bemisia tabaci Genn., under field level. The performance of amitraz and profenophos was inconsistent. The natural products such as nicotine sulphate, neem oil emulsion, fish oil insecticide soap recorded significantly lower whitefly population. However, their ineffectiveness against cotton bollworm, Helicoverpa armigera Hub., resulted in lower yields of seed cotton.
