Abstract
Midsummer Nights Dream Primimma by Paul Stanhope - World premier of work for choir and wind quintet. Future by Stephen Leek - choir and wind quintet. The first concert of the first series being performed at QPAC commences with one of Mozart's finest concert arias, Ch'io my scordi di te? Composed for Mozart himself to perform, this work features a brilliant piano obbligato. Recent works by two of Australia's outstanding choral composers, Paul Stanhope and Stephen Leek follow and are magnificently performed by the ensemble and St Peter's Chorale. The final work in the program, by Mendelssohn (arr.
