Abstract

Golomb (1965) sequences of length L form a class of polyphase sequences which have a perfect periodic autocorrelation. Given certain constraints, they also have a favorable aperiodic autocorrelation. This paper presents a comprehensive study of the asymptotic behavior of the aperiodic autocorrelation function of Golomb sequences.
