Abstract
A computer-oriented method for designing multilevel sequences with low autocorrelation sidelobes is discussed. The multilevel sequences with pulse-like autocorrelation function are generated iteratively, starting with a sequence having relatively low sidelobes in its autocorrelation function. The method can be used to generate a sequence of any desired length.
