Abstract

Abstract This chapter focuses on the types and symptoms of abiotic disorders, bacterial diseases, fungal diseases, viral diseases and pests affecting peppers. The type and amount of losses in pepper caused by these plant diseases and pests and various methods used in their control are discussed and the importance of the use of resistant cultivars in pepper production are highlighted.
