Abstract
Written in 1932, when a great number of tourists were visiting Ceylon, the book was meant to give a short account of the many ruins found all over Ceylon. It describes ruins in all parts of Ceylon. It is described with 12 photographic illustrations and 3 maps. Sites noticed include: Anuradhapura; Mihintale; Polonnaruwa; Sigiriya; Dambulla; Aluwihare; and, Kalawewa.
