Abstract
The object of this book is to lay forth the true and accurate account of the sacred city of Anuradhapura in Ceylon. Founded about 2300 years ago this is one of the rare cities that has attracted constant attention from the scholars and historians. The political aspect is untouched. The book was first published in 1908.
