Abstract
In this chapter, to conform with main overall aims of the book, connective and muscle tissues will receive most attention. Other topics discussed includes: nervous tissue, structure of basic tissue: cells and fibres, major division and development of the nervous system, connective tissue, supportive connective tissue, haemapoietic connective tissue, loose connective tissue, muscle tissue, tissue structure, muscle types, chemical composition of the muscles, muscle growth, epithelial cells, and hair and wool.
