Comparison and analysis of the different mulberry varieties under the stereo-climate of Yunnan province.

The comparison and analysis were carried on in 13 mulberry varieties at different altitude sea level and under the stereo-climate of Yunnan province,and 'hu-mulberry 32' was the control.The weight of the leaves of one-meter branch,the quantity of leaves per kilogram,the quantity of cocoons per kilogram and the life cycle were compared.The result showed that the different fresh mulberry varieties were popularized in three different mulberry-planted areas.The result had the guiding sense to Yunnan sericulture.
