Abstract
One new genus and 7 new species among 30 species of Oxyurata obtained from24 species of vertebrates in Fujian Province are described in this paper. All the typespecimens are deposited in the Parasitological Research Laboratory, Fujian NormalUniversity.1. Aplectana hylae, sp. nov. (fig. 1)Habitat: Intestine of Hyla chinensis. This species differs from A. micropenis Travassos, 1923 chiefly in the number ofanal papillae (only 3 pairs in the tip of tail), the larger size of spicule (0.180—0.192×0.010 mm), and the more slender gubernacular of 56-60 μin length.2. Aplectana paucipapillosa, sp. nov.(fig.2)Habitat: Intestine of Rana spinosa. This species differs from A. baylisi (Walton, 1933) in the larger size of body(2.40-2.448×0.214-0.238 mm), the smaller spicule (0.120—0.122 mm),the vulvain posterior half of body, and the smaller size of eggs (87-96×56-64μ).3. Neoraillietnema ranae, sp. nov.(fig. 3)Habitat: Intestine of Rana tigrina rugulosa. This species differs from N. praeputiale(Skrjabin, 1916) in the smaller size of body(1.64—1.76×0.176—0.208 mm), the excretory pore in the posterior margin of oesop-hagus, the shorter spicule (0.123—0.140 mm in length), and the presence of only 10pairs of postanal papillae.4. Paraleptonema ranae, gen. et sp. nov.(fig.4)Habitat: Intestine of Rana spinosa. The new genus Paraleptonema is closely related to Cosmoxynemoides Travassos,1949, but differs from the latter mainly in having no lateral flanges through bodylength, and in the vulva situated in posterior half of the body.Type species: Paraleptonema ranae sp. nov.The new species Paraleptonema ranac is characterized by the dilated muscularoesophagus, and by tbe presence of only 1 pair of preanal papillae.5. Parathelandros orientalis, sp. nov. (fig. 5)Habitat: Intestine of Gekko japonicus. This species differs from P. megalocera (Skrjabin, 1916) in having a shorteroesophagus (0.175—0.228 mm), an excretory pore in the posterior margin of oesophagus, a shorter tail (0.182—0.368 mm in male, 0.72—0.88 mm in femmale), and smallereggs (140—158×32-25μ).6. Meteterakis paucipapillosa, sp. nov. (fig. 6)Hhbitat: Intestine of Eumeces elegans. This species differs from M. howardi (Li, 1933), chiefly in the number of anal papillae (6 pairs as against 20 pairs) and in the length of spicules (0.400—0.416 mmin contrast to 0.45-0.61 mm).7. Subulura longispicula, sp. nov. (fig. 7)Habitat: Intestine of Ninox s. scutulata. This species differs from S. acutissima Molin, 1860 in having lateral cervical alaewell developed, spicules subequal (the left 2.88-3.36 mm and the right 2.4—3.0 mm),caudal papillae arranged as 3 pairs of preanal, 2 pairs of adanal and 5 pairs ofpostanal, and the vulva in a little distance anterior to middle of body.Gonguteterakis squmosa (Schneider, 1866) is recorded from a new host Ptyas mu-cosus. Cosmocercoides multipapillata Khera, 1958 from Bufo bufo gargarizans Spiro-Noura japonicus Yamaguti, 1935 from Platysternon megacephalum and Geocleyms re-evesii, Spironoura hylae Reiber, Byd et Parker, 1940 from Rane spinosa, Heterakisfariai Travassos, 1913 from Lophoura n. nyethemera, Heterakis yamadori Yamaguti,1941 from Bambusicola t. thoracica, and Subulura coturnicis Yamaguti, 1941 fromCoturnix coturnix japonicus are recorded for the first time from China.
