Abstract

Cuttlefish is one of the commercially important \ngroup of cephalopods caught by multi-night trawlers \nalong the coast of Karnataka. The catch rate of \ncuttlefish in multiday trawlers varies from <5 kg/haul \nduring December-April period to 50-300 kg/haul \nduring the peak fishing season in August- \nSeptember.
