Abstract

Scalp acupuncture with comprehensivemanipulations of lifting, thrusting, moving,and retaining is a unique acupuncture therapyfrequently used by Prof. Wang Dai and Prof.Feng Chunxiang to treat apoplectic hemiplegia.The author treated 100 cases of hemiplegiadue to ischemic apoplexy with the abovemethod from 1992 to 1996, and obtainedsatisfactory therapeutic results as reported inthe following.
