Abstract
40 Chaetomium strains were screened by agar diffusion which could inhibit plant pathogenic fungi. The result of screening showed fermented broth of CH08 and CH23 had potent inhibition of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides,Cladosporium fulvum, and Bipolaris sorokiniana.Fermented broth of CH16 and CH17 showed potent inhibition of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and Cladosporium fulvum.Fermented broth of CH21 exhibited moderate inhibitory activity against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp niveum and Colletotrichum capsici.CH08,CH16,CH17 and CH23 were identified as C.globosum and CH21 was identified as Chaetomium cupreum based on morphology.
