Abstract
A leader in the US natural gas industry, who this month concludes a year as chairman of the American Gas Association, tells what he foresees as the future of the industry. To get where they would like to go, he notes, people in the industry will have to solve some pressing problems. He thinks this can be done and notes that it requires a fully free enterprise. He suggests that a 50% take-or-pay requirement for pipelines would moderate sudden price increases.
