Abstract
On the basis of gradient data of the surface layer obtained from four sets of AutomaticWeather Station (AWS) installed in Lhasa,Nagqu,Xigaze and Nyingchi on the Tibetan Plateaufrom July 1993 to March 1999 according to the project of PRC-Japan Asia monsoon mechanismcooperative research, the seasonal surface roughness lengths and diurnal bulk transfer coefficientsat each station are estimated. Then the surface fluxes of momentum, sensible heat and latent heatare calculated by using bulk formulation,Moreover, the composite characteristics of diurnal andmonthly variation of surface fluxes are emphatically analyzed in this paper.
