Abstract

ISSR,an effective molecular marker that based on microsatellites sequences, was widely used to germplasms identification and genetic diversity research.14 Camellia sinensis germplasms collected from Chongqing municipality and Sichuan province were identified using ISSR molecular marker. The fingerprints, presence or scarce of allele and the combination of markers were used to distinguish the materials. The results suggested that ISSR was a useful and effective tool for molecular identification of tea germplasm.
