Abstract

This chapter provides information on pest status of the crucifer flea beetle, Phyllotreta cruciferae, and striped flea beetle, P. striolata (primary pests of brassicaceous oilseed crops and vegetables across Canada), followed by a comprehensive background on previous studies, review of the use of biological control in these programmes, an evaluation of the biological control efforts and future needs in research or implementation activities.
