Abstract
This weed survey was conducted at upland fields in the middle region of Korea in 2002. Eighty-eight weed species in 30 families were identified in this survey. The most dominant weed species was Digitaria sanguinalis, followed by Portulaca oleracea, Chenopodium album, Cyperus amuricus and Acalypha australis in Chnungcheong region. The dominant weed species of winter crop fields was Rorippa islandica, Chenopodium album, Erigeron canadensis and Stellaria aquatica. The dominant weed species of summer crop fields was Digitaria sanguinalis, Portulaca oleracea, Cyperus amuricus and Acalypha australis
