Abstract

A state-of-the-art report is given on the nuclear waste disposal problem showing that technically there is in fact no problem. Various radioactive disposal alternatives are considered, and a risk analysis and assessment is summed up. It is concluded that the safety procedures are adequate and any risks involved are infinitesimal.
