Abstract
The benefits of rail profile grinding have been exploited by heavy-haul railways for several years. Now, profile grinding techniques are being applied to the higher-speed railways in Europe. The problems on these lines are different from heavy-haul railways, but profile grinding has considerable potential to improve the cost-effectiveness of European railway operations.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
